Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery

Dr. Mylinh Duong is a Texas educated periodontist. She went to Cedar Park High School and attended University of Texas at San Antonio where she graduated with a B.S. in Biology with Summa Cum Lade and general honors. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with higher honors and distinction in Dental Education from the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Upon completion of her dental degree, Dr. Duong was elected to become a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She then chose to further her degree and pursue the specialty training in periodontics and implantology at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. She completed her studies and earned her Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science in Dental Science.

Dr. Duong provides full range of treatment in periodontics including dental implant, periodontal plastic surgery, root coverage surgery, advance bone grafting and regenerative therapy. She strongly believes her patients deserve the very best care for the health of their teeth, gums and bone. She is a caring person who gives special attention to her patients’ comfort throughout procedures with the help of sedation and highly skilled techniques. She also values the importance of educating her patients on good periodontal health for successful dental as well as general health.

Currently, Dr. Duong is involved with multiple professional organization, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), the Southwest Society of Periodontists (SWSP), the Texas Dental Association (TDA) and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Duong is bilingual and is proficient in English and Vietnamese. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband and her beautiful daughter, Grace.
